THE GLOBE PICTURES
The audiences at the Globe Theatre yesterday wero • satisfactory, and tne new series of films was given a cordiaii reception at each entertainment. One of the finest pictures was entitled "The Telephone Girl," in which is depicted tlio brave conduct of an operator during the burning of a big factory. An interesting animal study is "Pups," which deals with the subject in a bright fashion. "'The Punishment" is the title of an exciting dramatic film with a powerful plot. The comic element is well supplied in "Houses built by Electricity" and "Her Uncle John." The programme will ba shown to-day from noon to 10.30 p.m.
p.m. session for learners. To-day tho Rink will bo open at tho usual hours.
