RANGIORA.
The attendance at the Rangiora markets' yesterday was up to the average. In the stock saleyards the entry was 1500- sheep, of which 500 were fat, 50 cattle, and 80 pigs. Prices wero: — Fat lambs, 14s <"*_ •to 20s; fat ewes, 13s 6d to 15s 6d; fat wethers, 17s tb 20s; two-tooth store wethers, 13s 6d to 15s 9d; four-tooths, 14s 6d to 16s 9d; store lambs, 10s 6d to lis 6d; old breeding ewes, 6s to B<S; four to eighttooth., ewes, 15s to 16s 6d. Cattle: Fat cows, to £6 17s • 6d; two-yeai"-olds, to £3 2s 6d; yearlings, £1 5s to £2 7s; springing heifers, £7 to £9; springing cows, to £8 10s. Pigs: Baconers, 50s to 755; porkers, 40s to 455; stores, 25s to 38s; small pigs, 6s to 14s.
In the produce yards, prices were :— Heavy crossbred sheepskins, 4s 9d; 'medium, 3s 6d; lighter, 2s 6d; merino sheepskins, 4s; calfskins, 2s 6d; lambskins, 3s Od; hides, 5d per lb; wool, 6d; fat, l.d. Poultry: Roosters, 6s per couple; hens, 2s 6d; pullets, 3s; ducks, 5s 6d; chickwheat, 3s 9d per bushel; oats, 2s 6d; barley, 3s 6d; kibbled beans, 4s; grass seed, 2s 3d; cocksfoot, 4d per lb; wheatmcal, 123 per sack; sharps, 8s 9d; bran, 5s 6d: oatsheaf chaff, 3s 6d; straw do., Is 6d; potatoes, 10s; swedes, 3s; carrots, 3s; parsnips, 6s; onions, Id per lb; apples, 3s per case; pears, 2s 6d per caso.
