WESTPORT GENERAL LABOURERS.
(press association telegram.) « ■' WESTPORT, June 11. At a meeting of tho Westport General Labourers' Union to-night, about 250 being present, it was decided to make a levy of 2s 6d per week per man, equivalent to 5 per cent., on wages, on behalf of the families of the miners at Waihi and Reefton.
