INSUFFICIENT BOATS.

(Received June 11th, 11.35 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 11. Mr Carlisle, continuing his evidence, stated that ho showed tho White Star Company his plans for providing more boats for tho Titanic, and it rested with the company to decide the number to be carried. Ho signed the report to tho Advisory Committee of tho Board of Trade recommending fewer boats than the Titanic carried, and admitted it was difficult to explain why ho signed as he did not approve of the number. Mr Havelock Wilson also signed, though ho did not approve of the report.
