Merivale 18, Cliristcharcn 8. Sydenham 9, Albion 3. Old Boys 23, College 3. Lin wood-6, Marists 0. The matches on Lancaster Park on Saturday did not attract many spectators, the wintry blast being responsible for the paucity of the attendance. The Merivale-Christcburch £ame monopolised attention, but it was not of a character to enthuse over, eround and weather being against a good display, Merivalo won somewhat easily by 18 points to 8. On the sonth ground, after a ragged forward scramble, Sydenham put Albion under by 9 points to 3. 01d>Boys had no difficulty in ecoring a23to 3w n over College. The game was played on the west ground. Liuwood defeated Marists, on the Show J Grounds, by (j po.nts to nil, the gaino being of thu ragged forward variety.
