RANGIORA.

On Friday evening, there was a crowded attendance at tho concert given by tho pupils of the R-angiora High School. Tho same programme had been given at tho close of the school at tlio Christmas vacation, and was repeated by request. The programme consisted of gleet), duets, quartets, overtures, and a musical monologue, a sword dance by Master Denton in costume, the Admiral's song from "Pinafore" by Master Seared, together with two scenes from "Midsummer Night's Dream," a short play, "Tho Mad Hattor's Te» Party," from "Alice in Wonderland." The programmeconcluded with the "'Pageant of Empire," with patriotic songs. The whole entertainment was nicely staged, and the pupils had been well-trained by the teachers of tho school.
