This Sir William has refused, and the position iof J-li*rh Commissioner will be vacani on Saturday. Mr C. F. Wray Pall *er, ! serretary to the High Commissioner, j will carry on pending the appointment iof a successor to Sir AVilliam Eall- | Jones.
