SATURDAY'S GAMES.
The? Saturday competitions were continued in fine r.eather. The grounds wore all in a very soft state, which handicapped the players to a considerable extent. Tho results were:— FIRST GRADE. SYDENHAM A v. SYDENHAM C. Playing on Sydenham Park, tho A tram-had a fairly easy win fay 7 goals, shot by lltilbert"(4) iind Throp (3), to 4 goals, shot by AVarburton (2). and Cummins (•_'). Mr A. E. Gardner was referee. ■ CHRISTCHCRCH v. SYDENHAM B. This game was played on the Poio ground, and ended in a win for Christchurch by 3 jioals to 1. Key (2) and Anderson scored for the winner?, while Hutchins scored Sydenham's ouly goal. Mr J. Burgess was referee. ADDINGTON v. BIBLE CLASS. Addington had aa oasv win by 5 goals to nil. Clarke (2). Smith (2), and Chappell worn tho scorers. Mr H. Hatch wrss referee. ELGIN v. CHRISTCHURCH B. Tin's game ended in a win for Elc;in Hy 1) goals, scoreti by Sago (3), ~E. Quinton <3), and 801 l (.'ii, to 1, shot fay Newton. Mr T. Rice was referee. Albans had. a bye.
