Tin —Tin, on spot, is quoteil at, -21.-* 10s; three months, £210. The rise is due to heavy buying in consequence ot the growing scarcity of supplies. SILVER. Silver is quoted at 2s 4 3-10 cl. LONDON »WOOL SALES. , Competition is strong, and prices show a hardening tendency. Finehaired combings for tho Continent are in active demand. Crossbreds are unchanged. Tho following are the prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: —Otekaike, top price lO.d, average price 9*Jd; Mokapeka, top price 13.d, average price 123 d; Lgbrooke, top prico 13d, average price HidBANK QUOTATIONS. Bank of Australasia, £116 to £115; Union Bank, £61 to £62; National Bank of New Zealand, £5 los to £6 ; Bank of New Zealand, £10 10s to £11 10s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., adviso having received the following cablegram from London, giving tho undernoted market information:—"London Wool Sales. — Prices aro about par to 5 per cent, lower for medium greasy-.crossbred and fine greasy crossbred ; about 5 per cont. higher for scoured merino,, greasy crossbred lambs, greasy merino a*id scoured crossbred : about par to 5 per cent, higher for lambs, coarse greasy crossbred and crossbred slipe. Sales progress firmly. There is a decreased American demand for crossbred."
