(Received April 30th, 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 30 Mr Ac-land, in reply to .a question in tho House of Commons, suggesting n local armistice to enable tho detained ships to pass through the Dardanelles, declared that Sir Edward Grey would consult the Powers regarding such a temporary measure if the channel was not opened soon.
