QUEENSLAND ELECTIONS.
WHY LABOUR FAILED
A LABOUR VIEW
United Pres3 Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 30. Mr A. Griffith, a member of the Stato Labour Government, in an interview regarding • tho Queensland elections, said that he was not surprised at tho failure of tho Labour Party. If a certain section of tho community declared war against tho general public and tried to starve it out, it was only natural to expect that the public would hit hack. That was what had happened in South Australia and Queensland. If a general strike wero organised in Sydney iust prior to tho elections, ho added, tho Labour Party in New South Wales -would get rubbed out.
