SUDDEN DEATH
Mrs McViunie, wife of Mr John McVinnie, a very old resident of the Leeston district, died suddenly on Sunday evening. Mrs McViunie had not been very well lately, and was under a doctor's care. Her health improved on i E-riday, but on Saturday she complained of being unwell again, though it was j not considered there was any causo for ] alarm. She was able to get about during the day, but complained of feeling cold. On Sunday evening Airs Jackman called to sec Mrs McYinnie, who, after conversing for a short time, said she did not feel well, and that she would retire. Shortly al forwards a noiso was heard in Mas McViimie's room, and upon . investigation being made, it was found that Mrs MoVinnio was in a serious state, and she expired in a few moments. Tho doctor wiio had boon attending her was able to give a certificate ns to the cause of death, so that art inquest was not necessary. The late.-Mrs McVinnio was ! highly respected by all who knew her, and much sympathy is felt for her husband and her only son, Mr David McVinnio.
