GOVERNMENT FORECAST.
Mr D. C. Bites issued tho following weather juuirnary and forecast at 5 p.m. yeatirday: — The barometer has risen everywhere, and strong westerly winds have changed to southerlics. with decreasing force. Tho weather has been sqii—lly and showery, but it improved to-day. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds, cool and changoablo weather, and a steady, rising barometer.
