At tho three-furlong post AVolawa and A'olnlouno were togethor in front, their nearest attendants being Lady Medallist and Malt King. Before reachinsr the. turn AVolawa retired. Volsloane and Lady Mcc._lli.3t rounded the turn together, nnd led into tho straight. Malt Kiiifr, coming fust, joined the leaders at tho distance, and, finishing utron-dy, beat Lady Medallist by tour lengths.
