"IX7E hereby give Notice that the CHRISTVV CHURCH TRAMAVAY BOARD proposes to raise a SPECIAL LOAN for the purposes of the undertaking hereunder mentioned:— (1) Tbo particular purpose or purposes lor which tho Loan is required is the Construction and Equipmcrft of an Electric Tramway commencing from the present terminus of the Papanui Line nnd proceeding via North road to Norfbcoto road, a distance of about 76 chain 3. (2) The sum propr.sed to be borrowed for such purposo is £9000. (3) The ..roposed security for the loan v,-ill bo iho tramway laid along Hie route above mentioned, and the revenues / arising therefrom, ar.d a Special Rate over the Papanui Tramway Special Rating Area to cover Interest and Sinkiii£r Fund, which will be made and levied for that purpose. Provision for renayment will also be made by the creation of a Sinking Fund at the rste of ten shillings per centum (10* per cent.) per annum. (4) It is proposed to pay out of the Loan (a) Tho cost of raising the same; (b) Interest for the first year, and !c) All preliminary expenses incurred in connection with and incidental to the above undertaking.
