DUNEDIN, April 10." Ihe Painters' and Decorator.*' Union, now sittiug in Dunedin. represents about 200: workmen. The delegates this morning agreed as to the conditions of an award for the whole Dominion. The terms of this award will have to be ratified by the unions before, anything. el.se can bo done, so that local conditions can bo considered.
Ihe delegates also agreed to affirm tho principle of Professor Mills's Unity proposals, but this subject will be further discussed when it is known definitely what amendments have been mado by tho Conference at'AVellington.
