AND WHEREAS tho District Health Officer has recommended the Christchurch City Council to mako tho following additions to the Refuse Destructor, namely: — Installation of two single extra cells. Fitting up automatio refuso stokers. Other work that is necessary in connection with the above; And the Honourable the Minister oi Public Health has approved of tho City Council going on with tho said works NOW THEREFORE the said Christchurch City Council doth hereby, by Special Order, resolve to borrow by way of Special Loan, the sum of FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS (£5000), to bo cxnended in carrying out the abovo mentioned works. Tho said loan is to be for a period of 18 years, bearing interest in the meantime at a rate not exceeding il* 10s per centum per annum. _' (b) THAT for the purpose of providing tho interest at the rate not exceeding £4 10s per centum per annum, and other charge* on the aforesaid loan of FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS i_so9o', so authorised to be raised by tiio Christchurch City Council, under the above mentioned Acts, for the following additions to tbo Refuse Destructor, namely: — Installation oi two single extra cells.
