CHRISTCHURCH RIFLE CLUB'S FIELD DAY.
Splendid weather favoured the Chris.church Rifle' Club's Easter shooting at Cashmere on Monday. Twenty-three members took part, and some splendid scores were recorded. The conditions wero ten shots at 300, 500, and 600 yards. There were a number of visitors present during the afternoon, and the club gave, three prizes for the ladie3 who drew tho highest scorers in tho chief match 'of the day. They were won by Mrs Wood, sen., Miss Henslcy, and Miss McLean. At tho conclusion of the shooting Mrs Lummis, wife, of tho club's president, distributed the prizes, cheers being given for her and the donors of prizes.
