OWNERS DECLINE TO "DISCUSS DEMANDS.
(Received April Bth, 0.45 a.m.) LONTVON, April T. A party of strikers wero searching for coal in a disused aiino af> Nantymoel when a, Ini'-'.o fall occurred. Two of tho party v.ere killed. One hoy was killed elsewhere.
Several similar accidents havo been reported recently.
The coal-owners have declined to discusa further the demands of the Monmouthshire and South Wales enginemen and stokers.
Mr Keir Hardie, M.P., is distributing to necessitous miners £100 contributed by tho West Australian Timber Workers' Union.
