At tho Royal Show F. W. Fairey, butcher, of Nelson, gained first and champion honours for fat ox, Durham breed, with Maorilander. and also the championship for the beet fat ox in tho show. The animal weighed 23651b.

The thoroughbred stall on championship was awarded to Sir Aymer.

Tho following are the New Zealand awards: —Sheep : English Leicester ram, two years and over, Nixou, Canterbury, first and champion ; under two years, Nixon 1. Ewes: Over and under two years, Nixon 2.
