A lead race, promoted T>y Mr Hv Bit (Eangiora) for * silver cup, the final of » series, took place on Monday from Rangiora to Woodend, about 10J miles. Eleven Btarted, but a collision took place between five, who were out of the race. The winner was J. Hands (handicap SminSCteec). Time of race, Sflmin 25sec. Tho second was F. Rouso (2mm 45sec), and K. O'Connor third ; (acr). The Utter" made fastest time, '28min Sasec.
