Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed northward of Cape Campbell and Capo Foulwind, but south-easterly winds have been, experienced in the Southern district*. weather has predominated, and it hae been ehowery, in parts of tho South Island especiaUy. ■ , ,„ , Present indications are _ for un&eltled, cloudy and misty weather, with radn in most parts of tho country. StTong westerly winds are probable in and northward of Cook Strait,.and easterly and south-easterly wfnds elsewhere, and a further fall in the barometer.
