(rEESS ASSOCIATION XKLEGKAM.) TIMARU, March 26. Tlio annual rain fair was held to-day, the entries numbering 1042, of which '.iOS were Border Leicesters and 319 English Leicesters. The Border Leicesters were most in demand. Some North Canterbury flocks were represented. Rain fell steadily during the sale. Bidding was not animated. Tho best prko wa.s Ggns for a one-shear stud Komney. The average prices wero about 'ijgs for English Leicesters, 3£gs for Border Leicestcrs, and 3gs for Romne.vs.
