There is still no change to report in the wheat market. There is a little business passing, but nothing iery great, and prices are at last week's level. Oats also are unchanged so iar as prices go. Enquiries continue to come to. hand from Australia, and this Las the effect of steadying the New Zealand market to some extent. Chaff is in fair demand, aud nrices .-.re firmer at from 50s to 60s. * • Thoro is a good demand tor potatoes, especially from tho North Island, but supplies. a>e coming to hand well. Cocksfoot is coming to hand slowly, but tho condition of the seed is rath-»r poor this year.
