(Before Messrs W. C. Cleary, J.P., and F. W. Anderson, J.P.). DRUNKENNESS. A first offender for drunkenness was fined 5s and costs, in default 24 bour.3' imprisonment. THEFT OF CLOTHES. Joseph Orford was charged.with the theft of a coat and pair of trousers, value £4 2s, the property of Tuaivi Mosio. Defendant and complainant were stewiris on tho Mararoa, and tho former loft and joined tho Turakina at Wellington, ns'.a trimmer, taking tho clothes in questi3_ with him. Mosie informed tho police, who found the clothes in defendant's possession. Defendant admitted tho theft, and was fined £5, in default ono month's imprisonment.
