I Cadillac cars again showed their consistency in the recent trial, winning ■ tour gold medals and gaining 2nd and 3rdl prizes, Mr H. Piper, with his 1910 ' L ?7, llac :' onl y decided to enter the trial at the last moment, and only arrive*! trom Akaroa tho evening previous to tho.trial, and started on the trial without any preparation. miles per gallon. Mr Lane covered the entire distance to Hanmer via East Osford and return via a distance of 303 miles in 6 hours lo minutes. Mr J. N. Boag, with his 1912 self-starting Cadillac, which he had only recently taken delivery of, made an engine non-stop run. only losing five marks for stooping his car when changing gear. Petrol consumption 21 runnins miles. All the above cars wero with fully touring equipment— hoods, wind-shields, and lamps, and not stripped down for the contestDexter, and Crozier, Ltd. 6
