ASHBURTON
Some months ago the members of tho Ashburton County Council decided to make personal visits of inspection to all tlie outlying centres, in order to Lcecmc more intimately acquainted with the various localities, the needs of the various districts, and the necessity teabridging several more of the principal streams. Thi» second of these visits was paid on Monday, when the following felt by motor-car for a journey through tho Buecleuch, Mount .Seniors. Springburi!. and Sta'veley districts: — Messrs J. Lambie (chairman of the County Council). C. J. Harper, W. T: kill, J. Cairne, G. Murdoch. C. Morrison (Conntv Overseer), f. Mainwaring tCeunty Clerk), and 13. Stewart (Inspector of Reserves).
