RANGIORA.

At tho Ilangiora Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Messrs ,K. .11. Good and D. Graham, J.IVs, Joseph Quinn, for drunkenness and disorderly conduct, was fined 10s. G. F. Chapman, similarly charged, was lined ss, and unresisting the police -10s, or 11 days' imprisonment. Tho harvest thanksgiving services wore held in St. Johns Church, Ra?>giora, on Sunday last, and were well attended. Tho vicar, the Rev. F. P Femlall, preached appropriate sermons, and special harvest hymns were sum*. The clmir gave a very pretty anthem, tho solo parts being taken uv Mr G. Gibbs-Jordan and Mr 1). W. Mehrtens. The church was nicely decorated with grain, fruit, and vegetables, which will bo forwarded to St. Mary's Home.

On .Saturday the annual picnic of tho Rangiora Vresbyterian ■ Church Sunday School was hold at Suinner, when about two hundred chidrvu and their friends participated in tlio outing.
