At Kirweo salo on Friday, G7OO sheep and lambs wero yarded, being a full entry for this market. In the fat pens GOO were penned, 570 being lambs. Two or three small lots were wanting iv finish, hut tho others were all of good to primo freezing quality. There were a few good lines cf both storo Micup nnd lambs, but tho majority were of a very pxjor class, and very low in condition : in fact about tho poorest lot seen in any market for a long timo past. Thero was a fair attendance, and bidding for fats and good sorts of young sheep and forward lambs was good, and, considering tho quality of the bulk ot tho yarding, good prices wero offered. A number of lots, principally owes, ■wero passed at auction. Tho following aro tho prices;— Fat lambs, 15s to los lid; tegs, to 17s 0d; unfinished and Jight, 13s 7d to 14s Od. Fat crossbred wethers, 17s 4<l; four and six-tooth crossbred wethers, ] -Is 3d to 14s Od; two-tooth, lis to 12s; rape lambs, lis Id to 12s; store lambs, 8s Id; culls, 5s 3d to Gs 2d; four and six-tooth crossbred owes, lGs Cd; four-tooth, 14s Ski to 14s Od; two-tooth, 12s to 12s Cd; six and eight-tooth, 10a Sd to 12 s Od;. sound-mouth, 10s 7d to 12s; failing and aged, os 6d to 9s lOd ; sound-mouth Down cross ewes, Us.
