STRIKES IN BRISBANE.

BRISBANE, March 3. A meeting of waterside unions decided to remain on strike. The Miners' Union intends to take a ballot as to whether to sign the employers' agreement which provides for tho resumption of work on tho old conditions, excepting that tho men must give a fortnight's notice before leaving work. Tho Employers' Federation reports that tho labour offering through tho free labour bureau will supply.all ioquirements.
