"WELLINGTON, March 1.
Tiie Labour members will be invited to attend the Government caucus, which is to be held a fortnight hence, for the purpose of appointing a new Cabinet, but they may prefer to hold a separate meeting -of* their own. Should the Government Party desire to include a Labourite in the new Ministry, the Labour Party may probably insist, on choosing for itself which of its members shull be selected for th. honour.
Mr J. Robertson, the Labour member for Otaki, intends to address meetings in various parts of his electorate, ond t.ll tho people "Why he Tiroko his election pledge to vote against against the Ward Administration. '
Mr \V. A. Veiich spoke guardedly, this evening when he was Questioned as to th© fmuro attitudo of'the Labour Party. "We are an Independent Party." he said, "and may probably co-operate with the Libera lelement in the House. "We have not attended any Liberal caucus. Tho gathering this morning was not a caucus." The Labour Party, he added, had not yet come to any formal decision regarding its future attitude.
