ATTITUDE OF AUCKLAND LABOUR PARTY.

Th© Auckland branch of the Labour Party unanimously passed a resolution, congratulating' Mr Veiteh on his political honesty and integrity, and, whilo not committing itself to the wisdom or otherwise of the pledges, Condemning the action of th© two so-called Labour politicians—Messrs Payne and Robert--Bott-="in breaking faith with their constituents. Tho meeting was of the opinion that the two members referred to Should hand in their resignations. The resolution also stated that the Labour Party WM in no Way Connected with the regrettable occurrence.
