SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

A meeting of the Lincoln District High School was held on Monday evening. Present: Messrs R. W . Lockhead (in the chair), Exon, Scott, Taylor, Rennie, W. Bartram. • An inspection was made of the new laboratory recently erected, and complimentary remarks were made in regard its suitability for the purpose of teaching agricultural science and chemistry. A public function will be held noxt month to celebrate the opening, when invitations will bo sent out to all the chairmen and committees in tho district, the dato of the opening to be advertised.'
