THE MEXICAN REBELLION.
WASHINGTON, February 27. Political circles aro discussing a story to the effect that Mr Roosevelt, during tho lato Mexican rebellion, offered to send a regiment of cavalry if an invasion Were decided upon. It is believed that Mr Taft did not receive the offer cordially.
