MANAWATU RAM FAIR.

(I'RBIS3 ASSOCIATION-TELEGRAM.) PALMERSTON N., February 27. Tho Palmerston North ram fair was held to-day under the auspices of the ManaAvatu A. and P. Association. There was a lair attendance of buyers, and bidding lor tho better classes of sheep was brisk. The total yarding was 1558 head. Romneys were represented by 39 stud rams and 9t>B flock rams, Lincdlns by eight stud and 338 flock rams, flock iSouthdowns 235. The Ilomneys were offered to-day. T. Mo Kenzie topped the prices for stud Ilomneys with 13gs, and Max. Voss, of Karere, for tho fourth year in succession, topped the price of flock Romneys with logs. The fair will be continued to-morrow. -
