Mr Horatio Bottomley was fined £100 for contempt of 'Court, in publishing a slanderous article in the newspupex "John Bull," because tbo Prudential Assurance Company refused to participate in his bankruptcy scheme. Mr Bottomley declined to prosecute, although challenged to do so.
