At the Municipal Bathe laat evening the Chrifttchuroh Ladies" S. and L.S. Club held the ninth event of the season. A scientific competition, which resulted in Sties Ea<ie paining first place, and Miss Teape and Mies Borland tied for second place. Misses Thomas, J. Fischer, Couzine, and Mesdamet Knowles and Johnson aleo coropeted. The Waltbam Ladks' Swimming Club held the sixth race of tho season on Tuesday, which resnlted as foilcws :,—Mrs Batnbery 1, Miss Eldridge 2. The third distance, 75yds, of tie Schoolgirls' Championship will be held, at the Tepid Bathe on Thursday, 29th, and the filial distance, 100 yds, the following Monday, at 4 p.m.
