CANTERBURY v. WELLINGTON.
(press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, December 28. It has been found necessary to make two changes in the team selected to represent Wellington in tho- match against Canterbury at the Basin Reservo on December 30th, January Ist and 2nd. Laws and Brace are* both unable to play, and their places will bo tako-i by C. llickson and Little, Tho team now is: —Blamires (captain), Mahony, Gibbes, Berendsen, Phillips, Findlay C. Hickson, Saunders, Patrick, Finlayson, Little. A team from tho Lin wood Wanderers' C.C. will leave by to-morrow night's train for Oxford to play tho local club •on January Ist and 2nd. % i- A match was played at Akaroa on Wednesday between the United Bays and Akaroa 3/adies, and resulted in "a win for the former by two runs. The scores wero: —United Bays 37, Akaroa 30.
