LODGE MEETINGS.
Ihe ordinary fortnightly meeting of the Hope of St. Albans Lodge was held on Tuesday, the A.D., Bro. Clitticc, presiding over a fair attendance. Sick pay was passed for payment, and the retiring AJ>., Bro. Fisher, was presented by tho D.P., Bro. Barnes, with a handsome framed diploma for past services. Tho following ledgo meeting, falling on New Year holiday, was postponed till v the following Thursday, when a presentation to the lodgo secretary, Bro. T. Walker, for having served the lodgo as secretary for thirty years, will be made. At the quarterly meeting of the A.O. Foresters' Court, No. 6729, Ashburton, the following officers were elected for the ensuing six months:— Chief ranger, Bro. J. McElhinney; sub-chief ranger. Bro. E. J. Hyde; J .TV., Bro. P. Choat; -5.8., Bros*. R. Kerr; J. 8., Bro. Stale.
