WEST CHRISTCHURCH DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
The monthly meeting was hold on ■ Wednesday, 13th inst, .when: there were J present: "Mr J. H. Jones (chairman), Messrs T . McMurray, H. Holland, W. Sheldon, G. Barrcll, W. Robson, and Rev. C. H, Garland and Rev. N. I Turner. The resignation of Miss Mnrgnrot. Menzics* from >■ the ■ teaching staff was accepted with regret, and the Committoo placed on record their high appreciation of her -valuable and faith-, ful services rendered to the school during her thirty years connection with it. .It was decided to 'hold--the ..school' picnic on February 2nd, the headmaster and the chairman, with Mr ■Barrcll, being appointed a cub-committee to decide* a& to st'te and make other necessary arrangements. It was agreed to advertiso for tliTeo pupil teachers at the end of the year.
