The Union liner Maltai, which arrived at Wellington on Friday., morning "frpm ,San Francisco, ' via Papeete and Rarotonga, brought 20 first class, 45 second class, and R2 third does passengers. Her cargo prised 1960 tons, of which 1697 ton* wero landed at Wellington. The Aorangi arrived at San Francisco last Thunday afternoon from Wellington, via Rarotonga and Papeete, The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruahine, from London, via way ports, left Hobart at 11 a.m. on Friday,- and is due at Wellington to-night.
