By the reconstruction scheme of tho North British Australasian Company it is proposed to write down the capital by £111,721, and consolidate the various issues into one stock. ";,- LONDON WOOL'SALES.. (Received December 12th, 12.45 a.m.) LONDON, December 10. Tho wool sales closed atr tho highest point of tho series. There was good competition in all quarters, especially for merinos. Fifty-seven thousand five hundred bales were sold for the Homo m:»rket,-nfty-four thousand for the Continent, seven thousand ior the United States, and ton thousand held over. There was a, buoyant tone throughout tho series. Competition and prices were steadily sustained. The Germans were keen operators, chiefly 7 in merinos, and the Americans particularly operated in crossbreds. There was an excellent representation of moVinos. Scoureds were fully fivo per cent above September rates, best greasy combings were at par, and faulties par to five per-cent, below. Good lots of medium, shabby crossbreds were ten per cent, .above, and' fine crossbreds, > also slipes and scoureds, five per cent, above September rates. Lambs sold at par. At the wool sales there was. spirited competition at full rat£>s.,
