Tho following is a statement of Customs duties collected at tho port of Lvttelton during the -week ended yesterday:—Spirits,.'£232-. 18s Cd; cigar* and cigarettes, £533 19a 8d; tobacco, £GS~ iOs; Trine, £212 19s Id; beer, £22; chicory, cocoa, and chocolate*. £17 14s; weight, £417 19s lOd; ad valorem, £3560 15s 7d; other duties, £213 5s Sd; total, £7997 2s 4d. Messrs T. B. Sliiel and Co., fruit and produce auctioneers, Dunedin, report for tho week ending IDeoember 7th, 1911:—Wo advise daily consignments of all early fruit and vegetables, tho market being exceedingly strong. Account sales and cheque- promptly, fullest market values guaranteed, sales by auction each morning at 9 a.m., small or largo consignments carefully attended to. Christchurch hothouse tomatoes, from Is 2d to Is 4d lb, according to .asparagus practically finished, 6s per dozen; green pcaa, -id to 3d lb; French beans, 3Jd to 3|d lb; cherries, choice 9d to lid lb; gooseberries, largo green 21d to 2_d lb, small 2d; strawberries, choice fruit up to lOd lb, medium 7d to 8d lb; hothouse grapes, 3s 6d to 4s lb; cucumbers, 6s to 7s Gd per dozen; new potatoes, 2d lb; cauliflowers, 7s to 8a _ack; cabbages, 3s Gd to 4s sack. ■ ; 3
