Yesterday morning his Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Lady Islington and Captain Asquith, visited the Prison Gate Brigade Home, Addington, tho Rescue Homo, Papanui road, and the Maternity Home, Bealey avenue. At each institution they expressed pleasure at the work being done. His Excellency and suit© will visit Nelson on Monday, the 20th inst., and Lord Islington will Btay there till tho following Thursday. Lord Islington specially desires to inspect the Motueka fruit farms.
