I The candidatq spoke on traditional lines, recounting in extenso the beneficent legislation placed on the Statute Book by the Liberal Party during tbe last twenty years. He also warmly denounced tiie Opposition and all its works, _ hurling fiery invectives at tho party in general, and at MV Massey in particular. A voto of thanks was carried unanimously.
