OXFORD.

A meeting of the general committee of the Oxford A. and P. Association was held in the Public Library on Saturday. The president, Mr Wm. Weld, was in tho chair. It was decided that the next annual show be held on Friday, April 12th, 1912. It was decided to accept the invitation to visit Lincoln Agricultural College on Farmers' Day. In regard to the election of a member to the College Board of Governors, it wus decided to support the candidature of Mr T. Blackley. It was decided to support the proposed North Canterbury Ploughing Championship. The following sub-commit-tees were elected: —Finance, President, Treasurer, and Messrs R. H. Parish, J. O'Ha'loran, H. T. Cooper, J. Cross, and R. H. Thompson; ground committee, President, Messrs H. T. Cooper, R. F. Henderson, L. Towell, T. J. Frame, Geo. Winter, J. Budge, R. H. Thompson, E. W. Meyers, August Mevers, J. Cross, J. Wells, R. Gilchrist, and D. Hawke. The secretary was instructed to make application for £59 placed on the estimates.
