METROPOLITAN SHOW.
—« Preparations are well in hand for the Canterbury A. and P. Association's Metropolitan Show, and given fine weather tho Show should prove as successful as any of its predecessors. Special trains, trams, and coaches will run to the Show grounds on each of the three days of the iTLipw. Tho programmo is ns follows:—,' Wednesday (Implement Day)— Display of motor cars, motor cycles, carriages, implements, machinery, and manufactures.
Thursday—Judging of cattle, sheep, draught horses, pigs and dairy produce, etc. Pedigree stock sale at 2.30 p.m.; competitions in afternoon; military events; hunters' events; pony jumping. Friday (Peoplo's Day.)— Judging of horses, etc.; grand parade of prize-takers: hunters' events; leaping match.
