COLTS v. CANTERBURY.
A match was played on Saturday afternoon at Hagloy Park between a team of colts ar.d a Canterbury eleven. Tho colts batted first, and owing to excellent, form shown by Hickmott and Loudon, they occupied the wickets for most of tho afternoon. Hickmott batted very well, and gave very few chances for his innings of 213, which is ;i record so far for this season. Ixnidon batted very well for 73.
