PREBBLETON.
A meeting of women was held in the library, Prebbleton, last week. Addresses were given by Mrs Cole and Miss Roberts, and songs rendered by MesdamesSykes and Burrows. A Women's Christian Temperance Union was formed, and the following officers wero elected:—President. Mrs Amyes; vicepresidont. Miss Easterbrook ; treasurer, Mrs Wicks; secretary, Mrs Layers. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Colo and Miss Roberta,,
