Marble Head and Manupai finished together at the and of fivo furlongs. StelUrie, Seraphic arc Pipo Clay were in that order at the end of four furlongs on the plonsh in 52Jsec. To Puic, Eimch, and Baadaleru flniabed la that over cix iurlonjfs on the plough id lmin 21 2-sth sec Separator wont the mile course proper in lmin 43neo. Gnome eprintod down the straight in attractive manner. lAevsior and the Mystification—Searchlight filly did three furlongs on the course proper in 40Bec. The latter finished in front, although ebo got the worst of tho start. Castleside and Ngaruhce did four furlongs on the course proper in 64seo, the former in front. Remisejieae was much too good for The Nut over six. furlongs on tho course proper in lmin 20Jsec NgTikuu and Meremere finished together at tho end of five furlongs in lmin 4scc. WRipureka, Kopus, and Sister went four furlongs on the plough in 53& cc, the latter in frent. Vi did five furlongs by herself on tho grass in lmin 6&cc. The others out were Sea Eagle, Cheddnr. Composed, Bliss, Our Queen, ilerrie Valet, Erin, Rangipoa, . Smoope, Tootgang, Donzel, Dazzling, and King , * Favourite.
